From samples to solutions: End-to-end genomic applications in agriculture
Tuesday January 16th, 1:30pm-3:40pm, Pacific D

In this session, we explore the impact of end-to-end and cost-effective genomics strategies in agriculture, covering everything from rumen sampling, to polylpoids, to large-scale variant calling in crop species.

Dr. Troy Rowan will delve into recent work on rumen sampling for improving feed efficacy. Dr. Mitchell Feldmann from UC Davis will share his work on the value of sequencing in strawberry genotyping for commercial breeding and trait selection. Dr. Shannon Clarke from AgResearch joins us to share recent work on sheep genotyping. Finally, Dr. Carson Andorf from the MaizeGDB team will share recent work that focused on variant calling for their large maize research dataset. By exploring real-world applications and success stories, we will share how Gencove's end-to-end platform is transforming the landscape of genomic data generation, analysis, and management. Join us to discuss approaches that bridge affordability, accuracy, and advanced insights in modern plant and animal genotyping. Let us know you'll be there!
