This congress is the premier conference for researchers and professionals involved in the genetic improvement of livestock. This year’s CROPS Conference theme is, “Improving Agriculture Through Genomics”. The multi-day conference features talks from renowned experts addressing the intersection of newly emerging genomic technologies and their application to crop improvement. The BIF symposium and convention brings together beef researchers, technology providers of beef genetics, and primary beef producers. Dr. Jesse Hoff is presenting in the Advancements in Genomics and Genetic Prediction section chaired by Dr. Warren Snellings, US-Meat Animal Research Center. Jesse’s talk, “Sequencing as the Foundation for a Modern Agrigenomics” is at 2pm.
